EVENT: 1st Annual Labor Day Rondy

SEPTEMBER 5 & 6, 2009
Join us for a weekend of pre-1840’s fun!

As our first event, things aren’t as “usual” as at your well established Rondy’s, but bear with us and it’ll only get better. Period dress and camps not required, but definitely desired. All shooting will be done with black powder (or modern equivalent), patched round ball and open iron sighted Muzzle Loading guns.

CAMPING:
This year we have walk-in primitive camping at the Range. This is really primitive and there is NO alcohol on the ground At All!

Camping is also at Christina Warren’s, a mile up the road across from Black Water Bend. Here you will need to bring your own drinking water, other is available. Please call 299-3481 for further information.

Also, there are many pull-off camp spots along the Anchor River. Local Camp Grounds fill up fast, but we will try to get lists up for you.

Saturday & Sunday Potluck Meal and Awards will be held at Christina’s place, with a bonfire, and we will provide hot dogs – at least.

SATURDAY: September 5
10:00am MANDITORY
Safety Orientation at the rifle range mile marker 160.
If you wish to shoot either day, YOU MUST ATTEND.
10:30am – 4:00pm Range Open
25 & 50 yard Bulls Eye: $5
Clay Bird Elimination: $5
100 yard Gongs Elimination: $5
Prizes given for each – Shoot all 3 to qualify for Aggrigate Prize
5:00pm-ish Potluck and Daily Awards
Afterwards Dark Skillet Toss
Bonfire to end the evening friendship gathering.

SUNDAY: September 6
10:00am – 2:00pm Range Open
Novelties: $5
10:00am – 2:00pm Tomahawk & Knife
Each separately $3, or both $5
Prizes given for each, but do both for the Aggrigate Prize
5:00pm-ish Potluck & Daily Awards
